We are seeking a dedicated Financial Administrative Assistant to strengthen our team. If you have a keen eye for detail, a strong grasp of numbers, and excellent administrative skills, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Your role

As a Financial Administrative Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our finance team by managing and optimizing financial processes to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with daily financial tasks.
  • Managing accounts payable, including invoice processing and payment execution.
  • Preparing and handling payments for both local and international suppliers.
  • Coordinating with creditors, clients, and business partners.
  • Supporting bank transactions for Atlas Risk Solutions across Curaçao, Aruba, Bonaire, and Sint Maarten.
  • Processing foreign insurer invoices and Mastercard transactions.
  • Assisting with projects and audits.
  • Drafting and overseeing payment agreements with clients.
  • Archiving and managing financial documents and data.

What you bring

  • MBO+ or a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Work experience in a finance department is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and numerical skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Experience with accounting software such as Xero and insurance platforms like ANVA is an advantage.
  • Fluency in Dutch, English, and Papiamentu.
  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
