We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist  to enhance our finance team.

Your role

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be a vital part of our financial operations, managing payment processes for clients in Curaçao, Aruba, Bonaire, and Sint Maarten. You’ll handle daily financial tasks, contribute to ongoing projects, and ensure effective receivables management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accounts receivable lists for multiple territories.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Manage and review payment arrangements.
  • Communicate with clients via phone and email to ensure timely collections.
  • Perform reconciliations with insurance companies.
  • Conduct daily bank reconciliations and payment processing.
  • Support audits, projects, and contract renewals.
  • Assist with various financial tasks and data management.
  • Archive and organize financial documents and records.

Your qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable management.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and structured working style.
  • Excellent numerical skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Experience working with B2B clients and handling collections.
  • Proficient in accounting software like Xero and insurance platforms such as ANVA.
  • Fluent in Dutch, English, and Papiamentu.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
